In mindfulness meditation the body reality becomes the focus of attention and the source of knowledge and wisdom. It emphasizes the importance of meditating with the body as a way of developing awareness and insight. The body becomes the object of observation and concentration. We directly experience breath, sensations,thoughts, and feelings and discover the nature of mind and understand the wisdom of the body. Gradually the body relaxes and the mind becomes quiet and reflective, the heart opens to let natural beauty and compassion guide us.

This form of mindfulness meditation helps us develop awareness of the present moment and an awakened state of consciousness and gain insight into the true nature of our being. We gently open. We awake to the abundant, rich, and joyful nature of everyday life. We participate directly in our healing and transformation and become co-creators with our world.
